1.Full name? Jessica Lynne Inhulsen
2.Number of children, names, & ages? Do you want more?Christopher (2 yo) &
Patrick (10 mo). Two rambunctious boys 15 months apart has been QUITE a
challenge for me. For a while I would have replied an emphatic “NO!” if asked,
“Do you want more?” But… maybe I could handle 1 or 2 more sometime in the
future.
3.Where
were you born and where do you consider “home”? I
was born in Gainesville, FL, but consider north GA to be home
4.As a child, what did you want to be when you
grew up?
5.What difficult life situation have you
overcome and how did you do it? My first year of marriage was pretty much
constant misery. I left all that was familiar & comforting to me (north GA,
my church of 10+ years, my job, my friends, my family) for life in a dreary,
cramped apartment with a new husband who was rarely home. I clung to my
favorite scripture verse (see #11) & poured my heart out to God, knowing
that even though I had no friends or family close by to lean on, my Savior is
my Rock & I can always lean on Him. Eventually we became plugged into a
church & made some new acquaintances, but boy it was hard work!
6.When you die, what is one thing that you
want to be remembered for? I don’t necessarily want to be remembered for any
one action or accomplishment. Rather, I hope my whole life will be remembered
as one that shone the love of Jesus in all that I did.
7.Favorite movie? “How to Steal a Million”
with Peter O’Toole & Audrey Hepburn
8.Favorite vacation spot? Definitely the
north GA mountains!
9.What is one thing you wish you could
change about yourself? My back. It kills me on a pretty regular basis.
10.Most hated household chore? Oh. My.
Word. IRONING!!! It is absolutely ridiculous that teeny tiny baby clothes get
so wrinkled. If any of you design a line of children’s clothes that doesn’t
require any ironing, I will be your most loyal customer!
11.Favorite Bible verse? Psalm 61:1-2 “Hear
my cry, O God, attend unto my prayer. When my heart is overwhelmed, lead me to
the rock that is higher than I.”
12.Favorite thing about being a mom? The
unexpected cuddle, slobbery smooch, or knock-you-over bear hug.
