Last MOPS meeting of the 2014-15 year

Our last meeting was full of good food and fellowship. Lindsey came to share a little about her ministry, Cooking for Christ. She had a Biblical message designed for women through her cooking demonstration. Learn more about her ministry at https://cooking4christ.wordpress.com
We will miss our meetings over the summer, but look forward to seeing each other again in the fall. Meeting dates soon to come!!!

April Mom's Night Out

This month was unfinished craft night! Some ladies brought a project to finish (ranging from writing thank you cards to making burp cloths to embellishing flip flops!) and others simply brought themselves. We shared snacks and conversation without little ones demanding our attention. It was an informal and laid back night of fellowship! We are looking forward to the next time to get together, which will be our last MNO before the summer!

April 22 meeting

Tian Foss from The Rainbow House came to share about car seat safety. It was an informative meeting and we had many questions answered. They even volunteered to check to ensure our car seats were installed properly. We enjoyed brunch and meeting with fellow Moms.

You won't want to miss our next meeting on May 13. It will be our last meeting before summer!

April 8th Meeting

We enjoyed our time together this morning! Lindsay gave a devotion and led us in a craft. Breakfast was delicious and the fellowship was delightful. If your new to MOPS or new to the area, please feel free to check us out! 

March Mom's Night Out

Mom's Night Out at Cheddar's! It was a slim crowd (probably due to many resting after putting in hard work during our recent consignment sale), but we still had a great time together! We expect a larger crowd at our MNO next month!

March 11, 2015 Meeting

We had a great time this MOPS meeting working on an Easter craft. Our MOPS coordinator, Lindsey Hopkins, shared a devotion, part of her testimony, and led us in the craft. We went home with a beautiful canvas to hang in our homes! Our next meeting will be April 5th and will be our last craft meeting of the 14-15 year!

Mom's Night Out at Olive Garden!

We had a fabulous turn out at our February Mom's Night Out at Olive Garden! We got to eat food while it was still warm, we didn't have to share, and we didn't have to clean up! :)  Joins us for our next one!

Service Project: Gifts for the children at The Methodist Home

November 5, 2014 MOPS Meeting

At this MOPS meeting we had a speaker from The Methodist Home share with us. Elizabeth arranged this wonderful service project so that we could bless some children in need. The women of MOPS bought items off 2 children's wish lists in order to help them have a Merry Christmas this year. We also wrote Christmas cards thanking The Methodist Home cabin leaders for their service in caring for these children, as well as sharing Christmas wishes and blessings through cards to the children of The Methodist Home. What a way to get into the Christmas spirit and bless others!

Caring Solutions' Day of Hope

Members of Warner Robins MOPS had a blast as we participated in Caring Solution's Hero Walk! Thank you for donating and/or coming out to support Caring Solutions Pregnancy Center!

The 1st meeting of the 2014-15 year: August 6

   Our first meeting of the new year was a hit! We met alot of Moms who are new to MOPS and many returned from last year. Our MOPS leader, Lindsey Hopkins, inspired us to have Courage to Raise Brave Kids from this year's theme: Be Brave. Juanita guided us in making our first craft of the year, monogrammed coffee mugs. Mom's Morning In!

In lieu of a Mom's Night Out, MOPS hosted a Mom's Morning In. We had a great time this past Wednesday! Our coordinator for this year, Lindsey Hopkins, hosted Truth Be Told for us. It was our only (and much needed!) summer get-together. We all had a fantastic time and were excited to meet some fabulous moms interested in joining MOPS. If you would like to join, or just see what we are all about, it's not too late. Our first meeting for the 2014-2015 year is Wed, Aug 6 at 9:30 am. If you can't make it then, you can join us any time during the year!

August Moms' Night Out- Casa Mexico

Our August Moms' Night Out was loads of fun. We met for dinner at Casa Mexico on Hwy 96. It was great hanging out and getting to know some of our new moms. And of course, it was refreshing to take a break from motherhood and enjoy some lady time (even if we did talk about the kiddos most of the evening). Lots of laughs and good conversations were had.

We also had a couple of our former MOPS members drop in to say some goodbyes before Natalie moves to Ohio. She has been such a blessing to our MOPS group as she has loved on and encouraged many of us during her 3 years in Warner Robins and served on leadership two of those years. We love you Natalie!
