Last Tuesday we had an amazing MNO! We asked you all to bring any clothes, shoes or accessories that you no longer loved (and a covered dish) out for a clothing swap potluck! We had ten moms join us that evening and had several more moms that were unable to attend, but still donated things to the swap. Well, needless to say, we had a selection to shop from!
We had some great laughs, some great food, and we were so grateful that so many of you were able to help out with stuffing snack bags for the fall festival.
On Thursday, all of the left over clothes and accessories made their way out to the Salvation Army main office in Macon. The office staff there was so touched by our donations and were so excited to hear of our support for the women of their safe houses. They took one look that the amount of clothes, and had to get the large cart and two guys to help unload it all. Thank you ladies for your time and generosity!
